Passenger excursion vessel

At the Shipyard of Special Facilities Ltd., on June 23, 2006, the delivery of the passenger ship "RUBINUM" for 140 passengers was carried out. The ship was built for Croatia's largest tourism company, Maistra d.d. hospitality and tourism, based in Rovinj, and majority-owned by the Adris Group.

The vessel’s primary mission is the transportation of passengers on short routes (navigation area 6 according to CRS). It is constructed in accordance with the Rules of the Croatian Register of Shipping (CRS) and Lloyd’s Register (LR) Rules for Special Service Craft.

The hull and superstructure are made of welded steel (grade A).

The propulsion system consists of two four-stroke diesel engines, each with an output of 220 kW, driving two propellers through reversible reduction gears. This enables a service speed of 10 knots. The propulsion system is remotely controlled from the wheelhouse.

The wheelhouse, passenger, and crew accommodation areas are air-conditioned.

Electrical power is supplied by a diesel generator (3 x 380 V, 50 Hz, 32 kVA) and 24 V DC batteries. Radio equipment includes VHF/DSC and portable VHF. The navigation system consists of radar, GPS, magnetic compass, and echo sounder.

Passenger accommodation consists of a 43-seat lounge, a 17-seat VIP lounge, and a 59-seat open deck seating area.

One three-berth cabin is provided for crew accommodation.
