Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium Visits Brodosplit

The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to the Republic of Croatia, H.E. Mr. William De Baets, visited Brodosplit shipyard, accompanied by team members.

The distinguished guests were welcomed by Member of the Management Board Tomislav Čorak and representatives of Brodosplit’s management, who presented current shipbuilding projects as well as activities in the field of road construction. The visit also included discussions about potential future cooperation.

During the tour, Ambassador De Baets was introduced to the company’s capacities and production capabilities. He visited the production facilities, including a polar cruise ship is being outfitted at the outfitting quay, and was briefed on the progress of the construction of coastal patrol vessels for the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Croatia.

A particular highlight for the Belgian delegation was Golden Horizon – the world’s largest square-rigged sailing ship, a proud symbol of Croatian shipbuilding and a masterpiece of engineering excellence.
